This city's first hospital, Baton Rouge General, has been providing for the healthcare needs of our community for more than 100 years. They've also won top honors for Baton Rouge General as Louisiana's Hospital of the Year for Nursing Excellence more times than any other hospital. And they're working hard to continue our longstanding tradition of superior nursing through the General's School of Nursing. In 2007, our nursing students ranked #1 in the U.S. for the national nursing licensing exam.
